Midsummer in Sweden is so special to me. We pick flowers to make crowns for the girls. The strongest men raise the Maypole and then we dance around it, singing traditional songs. Dinner outside until late with friends, herrings and potatoes, Snaps, strawberries and cream.The kids go swimming in the nearby lake at 10pm under a bright summer sky. Happiness. ...
